Whether you drink alcohol or take drugs of your own volition, their use can put your body at risk of being abused. It is possible that if you are in company, someone will release a psychoactive substance into your drink. There are several main types of psychoactive substances that are most commonly used by sex workers. Some of them are:

	Rohypnol – a sedative that can make you drowsy, cause slurred speech, „holes“ in memory, amnesia, make you slow and immobile.
	GHB or the so-called club drugs  „liquid ecstasy“ - a depressant that can make you dizzy, make you sick, vomit, incapacitated due to the sedative effects, cause heart problems, partial amnesia, and in some cases coma.
	Ketamine - a tranquilizer for animals that can cause delirium, memory loss, depression, long-term memory impairment, perception disorder.
	Ecstasy - a stimulant that makes you calm and feel accepted, can increase the feeling of attraction to someone, but can also cause depression, paranoia, confusion and anxiety.
	Alcohol - a sedative, which is the most commonly used substance for sexual abuse.
